WHAT WE'RE ABOUT

The Easy is a love letter to soul, gospel, blues, and funk; a medley of harmonies and hooks; Sweet Honey in the Rock meets D’Angelo. Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Betsy Lance created this vocal trio to bring her genre-bending songs to life, along with gospel powerhouse Jardima Kroeker and visual artist / singer Leah Hugon. Backed by a cast of Portland’s rising jazz musicians, The Easy delivers a driving combination of vocal harmonies and instrumental improv.
